Purolator is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for evaluating and stabilizing discrepancies within our physical security network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security alarms and incidents in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide access control and video surveillance services to ensure the security and integrity of our facilities and assets.
- Support investigations and provide video review and surveillance services to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other security-related incidents.
- Monitor and maintain various security systems, including video, access control, and high-value asset tracking systems.
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and provide reports to stakeholders.
- Manage employee access and ID card systems and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with transportation management teams to ensure the secure movement of goods and assets.
- Build and analyze case reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in the security industry.
- Knowledge of multi-facility security principles, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and alarm response.
- Ability to read and interpret building diagrams and security plans.
- Knowledge of basic security principles and dispatching procedures.
- Knowledge of transportation security and GPS tracking systems.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations. The schedule for this role is 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts, and every other weekend, including days and nights.
