Grounds Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Brave Brothers Tree Experts Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of grounds maintenance and landscape construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for our clients' properties, including lawn care, pruning, and other related tasks.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary resources required for each project, ensuring accurate estimates and timely completion.
- Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and within budget.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, then develop and implement plans to meet those requirements.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately document all projects, including timelines, budgets, and personnel involved.
- Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring that all agreements are fair and beneficial to the company.
- Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and address any issues that may arise during projects, providing guidance and recommendations to improve efficiency and quality.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient workflows, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Team Size: 11-15 people
- Staff in Various Areas of Responsibility: Lead a diverse team of landscape professionals, each with their own areas of expertise.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines to manage.
- Work Under Pressure: Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
