Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Associated Engineering. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing municipal infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water treatment systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered or approaching registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in designing municipal infrastructure.
  • Experience designing infrastructure projects in Ontario is an asset.
  • Proven integrity and ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated prioritization, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively and clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and collaborative software.
  • Valid driver's license is an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada.
