About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Design Team Lead to join our team at RedStep Immigration Services Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior designers, developing and implementing visual communications strategies, and creating engaging and effective visual content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor junior graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Provide guidance and support to help team members overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Visual Communications Strategy
    • Develop and implement visual communications strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that visual communications are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Design and Production
    • Design and produce high-quality visual content, including graphics, illustrations, and animations, that meet the company's brand standards and messaging.
    • Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop visual communications that meet their objectives.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate all aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
