Senior Copywriter Job Description

At Joe Fresh, we're seeking a talented Senior Copywriter to craft compelling brand-right creative copy that resonates with our customers. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll work closely with our Art Director and Graphic Designers to develop and execute content that showcases our brand's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and edit accurate, regulatory-compliant, and persuasive customer-focused copy for Joe Fresh across print and digital channels.
  • Ensure that our brand's mission and vision are featured in storytelling, along with product education.
  • Translate the marketing team's business priorities into compelling content that drives results.
  • Participate in and contribute to creative and cross-functional meetings to drive innovative ideas.
  • Coordinate all translation and approvals to ensure seamless execution.
  • Proofread and edit all consumer-facing content to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Campaign concepting for key apparel launches and partnership collaborations that drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Provide a strong point of view on our brand voice and tone to ensure consistency across all channels.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional English creative writing, editing, and grammatical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of fashion terminology, trends, and style to create content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solving with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Flexible and able to shift priorities quickly to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing across all channels, including digital content creation and digital marketing.
  • A strong understanding of industry best practices and expertise in digital content creation and digital marketing.
  • Ability to present and justify creative ideas and concepts against the creative brief.
  • Knowledge of the marketplace and industries we operate in, creative strategy, and the competitive landscape.
  • A passion for big idea thinking and consumer-centric storytelling and writing content that stands out in today's world.
  • Confidence presenting big ideas at meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to craft stories that bring content marketing to life for relevant audiences.
  • Fluency in digital best practices and content trends.

  • Agency background with experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work in French, a definite asset for our bilingual team.
