Job Title: Community Mental Health Worker 1

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Worker 1 to join our Mental Health team at the Salmon Arm Health Centre in Salmon Arm, B.C.

About the Role:

This relief full-time position is available until the return of the incumbent. As a Community Mental Health Worker 1, you will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Team, providing life skills and general support duties to clients living in their own housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide services within a psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction framework for clients with severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders.
  • Support clients in developing and maintaining skills required to live successfully in their own homes.
  • Engage clients in various community settings as people with full potential and as meaningful collaborators in their own service planning, delivery, and evaluation.

Salary Range:

Effective April 1, 2024, the pay scale for this position is $27.92 to $29.60 p/h.
