Expedia Group is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to become a part of the finance division (Corporate and Brands). This role focuses on providing analytical insights to leadership, conducting forecasting, performing variance analysis, and executing advanced financial modeling.
In this prominent position, you will cultivate a deep understanding of the business and its connection to financial outcomes, acting as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver analytical insights to executives on both project and ad hoc bases.
  • Create financial updates for executive leadership.
  • Assist the investor relations team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to comprehend business drivers.
  • Lead various initiatives to streamline and automate current processes.
  • Contribute to broader team and cross-functional objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with progressive responsibilities.
  • Proficient in analytics, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, a sense of ownership, and a commitment to delivering results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all management levels.
  • Results-oriented and highly driven, capable of thinking both strategically and tactically.
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually engaging manner for both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Enthusiastic about leveraging data to enhance decision-making.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The total cash compensation for this role in Seattle ranges from $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this position have the potential to increase their earnings up to $177,000.00, which represents the upper limit of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance.
