Job Title: Personnel Recruitment Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Personnel Recruitment Officer to join our team at Vertical Staffing Resources Inc. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Communication and Administration: Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
