Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The P&G Coffee Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation and portioning staff
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring data-driven decision-making
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
