About the Role

CMiC is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator - Oracle Middleware to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the deployment, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of databases within our Enterprise application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of our databases, including deployment, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering a culture of professional development and growth.
  • Project Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, interact with team members, and collaborate with other departments as needed.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation of implementation activities for management and other team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Research technical problems, analyze business requirements, evaluate alternative design approaches, and design technical processes to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: College/University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or Math/Physics (Computer Science stream) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Oracle DBA, systems analysis, programming, or a comparable role within a software company, with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of management experience.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work in the morning or evening shift (EST) and be comfortable with shift work, including working early or late hours.
  • On-Call Requirements: Participate in on-call rotation for weekends to cover issues, projects, or outages.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Application Weblogic Server 11g/12c, Oracle Identity 10g/11g/12c, Oracle Access Manager 12c, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Database 11g/12c/18c, J2EE Programs, and knowledge of RAC and DataGuard.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Office Products, and proficiency in MS SharePoint.
