About the Role

Care24Inc is seeking a skilled Developmental Service Worker to join our team in providing essential services to individuals and families in need. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will play a vital role in delivering life-changing programs and support to those who require it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support and Services
    • Provide administrative and office support to clients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services, making recommendations for the most suitable support.
    • Develop and implement life skills workshops, empowering clients to achieve their goals.
    • Conduct assessments to identify client strengths and development needs, informing the delivery of targeted services.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized service plans, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Program Development and Delivery
    • Design and deliver community-based programs, addressing the unique needs of our clients.
    • Work closely with clients, community agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate program statistics, informing evaluation and research initiatives.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships
    • Liaise with social services agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
    • Participate in government and community initiatives, promoting the well-being of newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous individuals.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
