Position Overview

The role of a Culinary Service Associate at Pasta Kulture involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and organization in serving areas while assisting customers with their dining needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by bringing clean dishes, utensils, and other items to serving areas and setting tables.
  • Manage linens by carrying and replacing them as needed.
  • Ensure sanitation by cleaning and disinfecting items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Clear and tidy tables, trays, and chairs after customers have finished their meals.
  • Load buspans and trays efficiently for service.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations.
  • Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
  • Package take-out food orders for customers.
  • Portion and wrap food items as necessary.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items for service.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly demeanor.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of items.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate areas.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and trash regularly.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting them as needed.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment that may involve handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks. You should be prepared for overtime and repetitive tasks, with the ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

Weight Handling

Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as part of daily responsibilities.
