Diesel Mechanic Job Description

LK REPAIR TERMINAL is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks and equipment
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 to 35 hours of work per week
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, with dusty and noisy conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail.
