Diesel Mechanic Job Description

LK REPAIR TERMINAL is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 to 35 hours per week
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, with dusty and noisy conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail.
