About the Role

As a Branch Manager at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve financial objectives and drive business growth. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of financial advisors and support staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage and minimize risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Scotiabank's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and products, with the ability to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses, such as the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning.
