In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the ideal candidate will oversee all daily operations of the branch. We are looking for a proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and ensure profitability across all branch functions.
- Meet asset management and market share objectives.
- Lead and nurture branch personnel to cultivate a motivated and effective team focused on the long-term success of the organization, clients, and staff.
- Provide insights and feedback regarding future opportunities and competitive dynamics.
- Oversee branch account receivables in collaboration with the Director of Credit Services.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Skills:
- Proven ability to inspire and manage staff effectively.
- Strong commitment to work ethic and excellence.
- Relevant post-secondary education is advantageous.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in the heavy equipment sector, complemented by 3-5 years in a progressively responsible management position.
- Demonstrated expertise in product support and a solid understanding of departmental operations.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams successfully.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Relevant post-secondary education is considered beneficial.
