Job Description for Retail Store Supervisor at Daisy Mart

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Daisy Mart. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
  • Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, ensure a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and processing merchandise shipments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail store environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
