Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, according to company recipes and standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of beverages, supplies, and equipment, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, and applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, and provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans, and supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market.
- Support for Indigenous People: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
