About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Tommy Gun's. As a key member of our grooming team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional haircuts and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Styling: Cut and trim hair according to client preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches to perfection.
  • Additional Services: Provide hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise apprentices and students in training, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with a high volume of clients.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.

  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Dependability: Be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
