We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Mario's Barber Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional haircutting and grooming services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Shampoo and Condition: Shampoo customers' hair, using a gentle and effective shampoo, and condition their hair to leave it feeling soft and manageable.
- Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches, using a straight razor or clippers, to give our clients a clean and defined look.
- Hair Treatment: Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, to enhance our clients' natural beauty.
- Supervision: Supervise apprentices or students in training, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
- Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that our shop is always well-stocked and ready to meet the needs of our clients.
As a Barber at Mario's Barber Shop, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods, so a high level of physical fitness is essential.
Requirements- Education: A certificate or diploma in barbering or a related field is required.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a barber shop or related field is preferred.
- Personal Qualities: A client-focused approach, a team player attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
