Your Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will engage in a variety of assignments that will enhance your experience and skill set while contributing to the firm’s growth through timely and effective client communication. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing compilations, reviews, and audit engagements both independently and collaboratively
  • Preparing Canadian corporate income tax returns, as well as personal and trust income tax returns
  • Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Participating in and contributing to internal training sessions

Your Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant public practice experience
  • Experience with NPO audits and fund accounting is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting standards (ASPE and ASNPO) and CAS
  • Understanding of materiality and variance analysis
  • Proficiency in CaseWare/CaseView, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional client service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards is advantageous
