Cedar Shake and Shingle Quality Inspector

Intertek is actively seeking a qualified inspector to enhance our Building & Construction division. This role presents an excellent opportunity for career advancement within the inspection industry.

The Inspector will be tasked with the evaluation and auditing of shake and shingle manufacturing facilities and the products generated within their assigned region. It is essential that inspections are conducted in a safe, professional, and respectful manner, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, grading protocols, labeling guidelines, inspection frequency, and other stipulations.

Key Qualifications for Success:

  • Prior experience in inspection is required
  • Familiarity with the cedar shake and shingle grading system is essential
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is mandatory
  • Flexibility in work hours is expected
  • Willingness to travel occasionally is necessary
