At Intertek, we are seeking a skilled Cedar Shake and Shingle Inspector to join our Building & Construction team in Coquitlam, BC. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow a versatile career in inspection fields.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and auditing shake and shingle mills, ensuring compliance with applicable criteria, grading rules, labeling procedures, and frequency of inspection. A valid Class 5 drivers' license and previous relevant inspection experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of shake and shingle mills
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Travel occasionally to Vancouver Island
