Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team at Tektronix. As a Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measurement equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Achieve customer satisfaction by completing calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned by lead technicians or supervisors.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter data into our tracking database to ensure seamless communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Documentation: Complete calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently, and occasionally create new data sheets based on instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.
- Quality Management: Adhere to quality management system policies and procedures in the performance of work, ensuring that all documentation meets customer requirements, reporting, and ISO standards.
- Field Service: Work primarily from our service center, but may occasionally perform field service under the supervision of more experienced technicians.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily scheduling, visual management, Kaizen, and problem-solving activities to drive continuous improvement and excellence in our processes.
- Support Functions: Perform other laboratory support functions as required, ensuring efficient and orderly execution.
- Clearance Eligibility: Possess CGP clearance eligibility.
- Driver's License: Meet the requirements to drive a company vehicle, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Citizenship: Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Electronics Background: Have an electronics background or degree.
- Equipment Calibration Experience: Have experience in equipment calibration, specifically in General Purpose Physical Dimensional.
- Customer Service: Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Technical Skills: Be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Physical Demands: Be capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
- Travel: Be willing to travel to local and regional on-site locations, with occasional overnight travel required.
- Military Training: Possess Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training.
- Additional Calibration Experience: Have experience in equipment calibration in Torque, Pressure, and RF.
