Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects related to nuclear power generation and power plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and vendors
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and vendors
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy or nuclear industry
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with nuclear power generation or power plant operations
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as ASME and CSA
  • Experience with project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera
