Job Overview

In collaboration with the Front of House Management Team, the Dining Room Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting Servers by ensuring all tables are impeccably set, clean, and fully equipped. This position requires a keen awareness of the dining area and a thorough understanding of the menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information regarding menu items, beverages, and restaurant services as needed.
  • Assist in delivering food to guests, ensuring accuracy in service.
  • Coordinate with Servers and Hosts to optimize seating arrangements.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness in the dining area, performing cleaning duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to all food safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage waste disposal, including changing linen bags and recycling.
  • Relay guest feedback and comments to Servers to enhance the dining experience.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Hospitality Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Smart Serve Certification is mandatory.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Capacity to follow directions and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
  • Ability to sustain a professional level of urgency and productivity.
