About the Role

ePac Flexible Packaging France is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions. We are seeking a skilled Pouch Operator to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate pouch making machines to convert laminated films into pouches that meet or exceed customer quality specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing zipper cloth, dies, seal bars, and punches.
  • Assist and work cooperatively with assistant machine operators to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished boxes.
  • Review work instructions and procedures applicable to the position.
  • Perform changeovers and PMs on equipment.
  • Make recommendations to supervision and management for improvement of production in terms of efficiency and workflow.
  • Maintain production reports and oversee daily performance of Pouch Assistant functions.
  • Change rolls and cut out splices, and perform quality control checks and data entry.
  • Remove trash and trim.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of flexible packaging films is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be flexible in work schedule.
Work Environment

The employee will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts and vibration. The ability to lift up to 50lbs is required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hairnets, steel-toed shoes, and facility-specific uniform requirements will be provided.
