Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Feeder/Catcher to join our team at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. As a Feeder/Catcher, you will be responsible for feeding cartons into gluing machines and catching finished products to pack into cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed cartons into gluing machines to ensure proper alignment and quality
  • Catch finished products and pack them into cases with precision and accuracy
  • Monitor machine malfunctions and notify the Adjuster to prevent downtime
  • Perform quality checks on cartons to ensure they meet company standards
  • Apply correct case labels to corrugated cases
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing stray cartons and sweeping up debris
  • Perform basic preventative care and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operations is preferred
  • On-the-job training will be provided to ensure success in the role
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools are essential
  • Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work at a fast pace are required
  • English language proficiency, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Basic computer skills, including reading computer screens
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift routine and occasional heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent attendance record and ability to work any shift schedule
