Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the launch and transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition, applying technical knowledge and expertise to design robust manufacturing processes, and leading production improvement projects.
Your Responsibilities- Ensure a seamless transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.
- Collaborate with design teams to provide feasibility directives for ease of manufacturing and cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain documentation for PFMEA, Operator Instructions, Rework, Change-over procedure and instruction, Manufacturing Engineering Open Issues, and Continuous Improvement Program.
- Track and manage new product Launch Key Milestone dates, Launch KPI's, Test Incidents, Customer Rejects, and High-Risk Items, ensuring timely action plans to close.
- Lead and participate in multi-disciplined teams to address corporate objectives related to manufacturing process, productivity, volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitment.
- Work with suppliers to resolve process deviations and ensure compliance.
- Drive scrap reduction and maximize efficiencies.
We are looking for a candidate with a Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma, or applicable trade, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
- Project management experience.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in software currently in use.
- Familiarity with FMEA and APQP.
