About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the launch and transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of new products, following established practices, and leading the advanced manufacturing team and support teams to a flawless launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations
  • Assist in part design activities with design sources and provide feasibility directives for ease of manufacturing and reducing cost
  • Develop and maintain documentation for PFMEA, Operator Instructions, Rework, Change-over procedure and instruction, Manufacturing Engineering Open Issues, and Continuous Improvement Program
  • Track and manage new product Launch Key Milestone dates, Launch KPI's, Test Incidents, Customer Rejects, and High-Risk Items
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in various multi-disciplined teams to address and fulfill corporate objectives associated with manufacturing process, productivity, volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitment

Requirements:

  • Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma, or applicable trade
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in a similar role, conducting higher-level analysis, prioritizing tasks, and working with partial responsibility and minimal supervision
  • Strong communication, presentation, and moderation skills
  • Continuous improvement, problem-solving, project management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, and sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use
