The Neuron Compiler team is at the forefront of this innovation, developing cutting-edge software that optimizes neural net models for execution on our custom chips, AWS Inferentia and Trainium. As a member of this team, you'll work on implementing business-critical features and be mentored by experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of a compiler targeting AWS Inferentia and Trainium
  • Implement business-critical features and optimize code for performance
  • Collaborate with a brilliant team of engineers to drive innovation
Requirements:
  • Experience with modern languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong interests and academic qualifications in code generation, compute graph optimization, resource scheduling, data structures, algorithms, or machine learning
  • Available for a 3-month internship starting January 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous technical internship experience
  • Knowledge of code generation, compute graph optimization, and resource scheduling
  • Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization
