About the Role

We are seeking a talented software engineer to join our Neuron team, where you will play a key role in developing a compiler targeting AWS Inferentia and Trainium, our custom Silicon ML accelerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement business-critical features for our compiler, working closely with a brilliant team of experienced engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize compilers and improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and compiler technology.
Requirements
  • Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interests and academic qualifications/research focus in areas such as code generation, compute graph optimization, resource scheduling, data structures, algorithms, compiler internals, and machine learning.
  • Experience with XLA, TVM, MLIR, LLVM, and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX.
  • Available for a 3-month internship starting January 2025.
  • Previous technical internship(s) and knowledge of optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
