We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Records Specialist to join our team at Newly Weds Foods Co. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
The position is based in our head office, where you will work in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage tight deadlines and perform repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Prepare tax returns and trial balances.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Proficiency in the following software is essential:
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- MS Word
- MS Office Suite
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
