Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our commercial building, motel, and surrounding areas. This includes operating industrial vacuum cleaners, making adjustments to heating and cooling systems, and performing minor repairs on appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions:

The Building Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The role requires flexibility, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
