In collaboration with the Senior Policyholder Tax Analyst, this position will assist our internal and external clients with all matters related to policyholder taxation.

The successful candidate will support the management of policyholder tax operations within CLIC Individual Insurance and Wealth Management, which encompasses the generation of all tax documents and reporting to the CRA and Revenue Quebec.

Under the mentorship of the Senior Policyholder Tax Analyst, the individual will offer guidance on business processes, address tax-related inquiries, and serve as a subject matter expert on all tax matters.

You will evaluate, strategize, plan, and oversee ongoing work to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.

Additionally, you will mentor the Policyholder Tax team, providing insights to management regarding training and development needs.

Your responsibilities will include leading the creation and distribution of tax documents and CRA submissions to support T4A, T5, T4RSP, T4RIF, T3, RL16, RL2, RL3, RRSP, NR4, TFSA, NR4, T550, RL1.

You will collaborate with the Project Delivery Team to prioritize and execute necessary tax modifications.
You will document and assess current system workflows to continuously identify efficiencies.
Employing critical thinking skills, you will recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively suggest solutions.
You possess advanced critical thinking abilities to analyze, assess, and derive conclusions.
A solid foundation in Policyholder Tax is essential.
You have an in-depth understanding of Tax Legislation and accounting principles.
