Position Overview:

The WNBA Toronto Team is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Business Operations Coordinator to provide comprehensive support to the President and the Executive team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operational processes and fostering effective communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily operations by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and distribute materials for executive meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is available.
  • Support the Executive team with administrative tasks, including managing correspondence and maintaining professional communication standards.
  • Handle ticket administration and assist with in-game support during home games.
  • Oversee office management, ensuring supplies and equipment are well-maintained and accessible.
  • Conduct special projects as assigned, demonstrating problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters.
