About the Role

MCM-D'Lusso Construction is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project delivery
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures and CADD software to ensure accurate estimates and project documentation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates and project delivery
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure estimates are accurate and meet project requirements
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and estimating software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
