We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Asset Management to join our team. As a key member of our Global Business Development department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with international partners, driving revenue growth, and developing sales forecasts and demand plans in various markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international distributors, partners, and field sales personnel.
- Engage with clients and local team members to drive revenue and sales growth.
- Manage and respond to international partners regarding product information and pricing to achieve company sales quotas.
- Collaborate with marketing to maintain and promote the Aurora Brand through international partners.
- Identify and develop strategic business opportunities to obtain licenses in foreign markets.
- Lead and create project work plans to identify and map out activities needed to successfully accomplish project goals, deliverables, and meet project deadlines.
- Work with local partners and internal stakeholders to develop and obtain approvals on marketing campaigns, product portfolio plans, pricing strategies, and short-term promotional campaigns.
- Ensure timely and successful support according to customer/local team's needs and objectives.
- Maintain awareness of competitive and regulatory developments in markets the company operates in or wants to enter, assisting with insights and competitive analysis to inform strategy development.
- Communicate to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project and business activities align with company goals.
- Advanced Degree in Law, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or international business development and/or relationship management experience.
- Passionate about sales and business development, with a drive to create partnerships and opportunities in new geographies.
- Ability to write and speak in Spanish is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior management and other team members professionally and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines (including overtime work, when required).
- Prior experience in the regulated global cannabis industry is an asset but not required.
