Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Lead Hand to join the North Shore Staffing Office team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform staffing duties, including preparing and adjusting staff rotations, allocating and calling in relief nursing and non-nursing staff, and responding to staff inquiries.
- Provide work direction, guidance, and training to designated staff.
Grade 12, five years' recent, related experience, and one year's supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge and Abilities- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise and organize work.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
