Job Title: Bankruptcy and Insolvency Lawyer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy and Insolvency Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients in financial reorganizations, debt restructurings, and related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting on behalf of Monitors under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and other stakeholders in dealing with financial reorganizations and debt restructurings.
- Advising and representing Trustees in bankruptcy.
- Conducting incorporations and reorganizations as needed.
- Providing expert advice on financial reorganizations, debt restructurings, and related matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' post-call experience in Bankruptcy and Insolvency law.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Bankruptcy proceedings, court and privately appointed receiverships, crisis management, debt collection and insolvency, receivership, and restructuring.
- Strong teamwork skills, trustworthiness, accountability, proactivity, and a positive work attitude.
- Confidence and legal acumen to do great work.
- Thorough knowledge of the Construction Act and other relevant legislation, as well as the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
