Job Title: Bankruptcy and Insolvency Lawyer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy and Insolvency Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients in financial reorganizations, debt restructurings, and related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on financial reorganizations, debt restructurings, and related matters
  • Represent clients in court and privately appointed receiverships
  • Conduct incorporations and reorganizations as needed
  • Work with clients to develop and implement financial restructuring plans
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, including financial institutions, court-appointed receivers, and trustees in bankruptcy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-call experience in Bankruptcy and Insolvency law
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Bankruptcy proceedings, court and privately appointed receiverships, crisis management, debt collection and insolvency, receivership, and restructuring
  • Strong teamwork skills, trustworthiness, accountability, proactivity, and a positive work attitude
  • Confidence and legal acumen to do great work
  • Thorough knowledge of the Construction Act and other relevant legislation, as well as the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act
