At 70 Mile General Store, we're seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service. In this role, you'll also be responsible for inspecting kitchens and food service areas, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. If you're a motivated and organized individual with a passion for food preparation, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
* Inspect kitchens and food service areas
* Order supplies and equipment
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas
* Manage kitchen operations
* Package take-out food

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Work Environment:

* 40 hours per week
* English language
