We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective tax strategies and planning assignments, working closely with partners and senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies and assignments
  • Perform technical research and develop tax plan recommendations
  • Manage a portfolio of tax services clients
  • Review tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Identify and cultivate new sales and/or client service opportunities
  • Manage engagement financials, including budgets, WIP, variances, and billing
  • Mentor, train, and develop staff
  • Compile feedback on staff performance and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Lead practice and professional development initiatives
Requirements:
  • CPA designation
  • Experience working in public practice accounting
  • At least two years in a tax specialty role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop others to build high-performing teams
  • Project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Business development skills are an asset
