Role Overview:
As a Senior Brand Strategist for Colgate Equity, you will embark on a transformative journey to enhance brand equity in North America. Your role will involve articulating the brand's purpose and establishing a social impact framework to tackle oral health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic brand team, reporting to a senior leader, to deepen the emotional connection between the brand and consumers.
- Develop and implement business and innovation strategies for key brands, setting priorities and creating actionable workstreams.
- Oversee the P&L to meet net sales and profitability targets.
- Provide strategic direction and lead a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives.
- Partner with agencies to craft impactful marketing campaigns and innovative concepts.
- Utilize consumer insights to inform strategies, driven by a comprehensive understanding of market trends and data analysis.
- Engage with sales teams to create compelling narratives for retail partners.
- Manage daily operations, including budget oversight and forecasting.
- Supervise one direct report.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles (finance, sales, marketing) or 8+ years plus an MBA.
- Demonstrated creativity, curiosity, and analytical thinking.
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive, assertive, and self-motivated.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA.
- Experience in the consumer goods sector.
