Lucky Supply Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Wholesale Buyer to join our growing team.

As a Wholesale Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring merchandise for our retail outlets. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that we maintain optimal stock levels of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new product opportunities and emerging trends within the wholesale industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing, discounts, and payment terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand sales forecasts and inventory requirements, ensuring timely procurement of merchandise.
  • Review product specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our retail locations, coordinating logistics and transportation arrangements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, market fluctuations, and competitor activities to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
Qualifications:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent education in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a wholesale buying role.
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends, identify product opportunities, and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
