Position Overview:

The Personal Financial Services Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position requires a strong understanding of both personal and business banking products and services, ensuring that our customers receive expert guidance tailored to their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement:
    Act as a trusted advisor, providing comprehensive knowledge of TD's offerings to both clients and team members. Engage with customers through thoughtful inquiries to uncover their financial goals and enhance their confidence in managing their finances.
  • Customer Outreach:
    Initiate proactive communication with clients to discuss their financial portfolios and identify opportunities for additional services that align with their needs.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Ensure that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, escalating issues as necessary to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Market Insight:
    Maintain an in-depth understanding of local market trends and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with frontline staff to support transaction processing and provide guidance on complex customer inquiries.

Business Development:
Contribute to the growth of the business by attracting and retaining customers, promoting the full range of TD's financial products and services, and supporting operational excellence.

Risk Management:
Identify and manage potential risks associated with customer transactions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Team Dynamics:
Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in their professional development.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma, relevant experience in financial services, and preferred post-secondary education in a related field. Professional certifications such as IFIC or CSC are advantageous.
