Job Summary:

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in financial services, providing guidance and advice to customers and colleagues on various banking products and services.
  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by attracting, acquiring, and retaining customers, and increasing profitability and business growth.
  • Provide sound financial advice and guidance to customers, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
  • Use your expertise to identify and advise on meeting and exceeding customer needs, and improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue.
  • Engage in customer outreach to discuss portfolio updates and additional opportunities that best serve the customer's needs.
  • Provide total financial reviews and make recommendations based on the customer's personal circumstances.
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved in an accurate and efficient manner, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations.
  • Assist with maintaining a professional and inviting space in the branch, adhering to premises, marketing, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the frontline with transactions, as necessary.
  • May act as a point of escalation and support for the frontline and advice staff, ensuring customer problems are handled appropriately.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and/or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in financial services.
  • IFIC or CSC certification.
  • CFSA certification to be completed upon hire.
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
