Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote person-centered care and ensure seamless transitions throughout the care journey.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.
