Parts Advisor

Overview:

As a rapidly expanding organization, we are looking for a remarkable Parts Advisor to enhance our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard inventory against loss and conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Manage the ordering and receiving of primary and mobile inventory.
  • Provide telephone assistance to customers regarding parts inquiries.
  • Process invoicing and sales transactions for parts.
  • Assist technicians and service advisors in procuring necessary parts to fulfill work orders.
  • Ensure timely return of cores on a monthly basis.
  • Handle returns from suppliers and local vendors.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding supplier information.
  • Track and perform cycle counts on used units and heaters.
  • Review parts usage for all work orders.
  • Offer counter support for parts-related issues to the workshop.
  • Deliver parts to customer locations as needed.
  • Source non-stock parts for service tasks.
  • Receive and stock parts for shop and service vehicles.
  • Replenish assigned inventory daily to prevent shortages of common items.
  • Maintain accurate records of high-value items and pending orders/receipts.
  • Process invoicing efficiently.
  • Follow up on warranty claims.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in parts management and/or inventory control.
  • Possession of a forklift license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and competence in handling customer interactions.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to respond efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Sound judgment and tact in addressing general inquiries.
  • Superior customer service capabilities.
  • Capacity to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
