Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Ventilation Systems
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems
  • Assemble and Install Refrigeration Components
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices
  • Measure and Connect Piping Using Welding and Brazing Equipment
  • Start Up and Test Systems for Leaks
  • Perform Maintenance Tasks Such as Recharging Systems and Checking Regulators
  • Interpret Gas Codes and Handle Refrigerants
  • Repair and Replace Parts and Components for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems
Requirements
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Own Vehicle
  • Ability to Work in a Noisy, Hot, and Cold Environment
  • Manual Dexterity and Attention to Detail
  • Excellent Oral Communication and Team Player Skills
